Ojo de Agua is a natural pool of water fed by the crystal clear water of an underground spring that comes from volcano Maderas. It is rimmed with cement to reduce the amount of debris that can enter the ponds. The cement work forms two separate swimming areas that have water continuously refreshed by the spring that emerges from the bottom of the upper pool.
The lower pool is approximately 2 meters deep and 40 meters long. Along the edge of the pools there are wooden sun chairs. It is permitted to bring food and drinks to Ojo de Agua. Beverages and food can also be ordered from the on site restaurant, so this is where the group will be enjoying lunch during the afternoon of the 3 day.
